Top alternative bucket list destination in Delaware
Honest Eco, a Florida-based eco tours company, conducted a survey of 3,000 families to reveal their top hidden gem bucket list destinations. Out of their submissions, the top 150 destinations were compiled, encompassing a wide range of climates and awaiting adventures across the country.
Although they may be lesser-known experiences, these locations are still sure to pack lots of fun and lasting memories for the entire family.
Delaware’s contribution to the list is Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Smyrna, coming in at No. 138.
Honest Eco declares Bombay Hook a “perfect destination for nature enthusiasts” due to the relaxing atmosphere and biodiverse environment. Families can reconnect with nature by hiking through the site’s trails, watching birds and other wildlife at the refuge and dabbling in nature photography like many others who visit the grounds.
