Off-duty NYPD officer arrested in Brooklyn: Police

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — An off-duty NYPD police officer was arrested Saturday morning in Brooklyn, authorities say.

Angel Balbuena, 27, was taken into custody at the 66th Precinct just before 3 a.m., according to police.

The officer was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusing to take a breath test.
