Man wanted for pulling down woman’s pants, groping her in Chelsea: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released photos of a man on Saturday who is wanted for sexually abusing a woman on the street in Manhattan earlier this week.

It happened at about 3:45 a.m. on Tuesday near West 26th Street and Eleventh Avenue in Chelsea, police said.

A 28-year-old woman was walking when she was approached by the suspect, who pulled her pants down and proceeded to grope her buttocks. He then fled eastbound on West 26th Street.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene, officials said.

Surveillance photos of the suspect show him wearing a red and blue short-sleeved jersey with “14” printed on both sides, black shorts and white sneakers.
