College GameDay Officially Announces Location for Week 3

Wolverine fans showed up in style for ESPN’s “College GameDay” in Ann Arbor, Michigan, ahead of the high-stakes Week 2 matchup between Texas Longhorns and Michigan Wolverines

The “College GameDay” crew will be on the road once again in Week 3, and the location has just been revealed.

For the first time in 10 years, the show will broadcast live from Columbia, South Carolina, for the LSU Tigers vs. South Carolina Gamecocks game on September 14.

While the Tigers are ranked No. 18 in the current AP Poll and the Gamecocks are unranked, the two SEC rivals will meet for the first time since 2020.

LSU won the most recent meeting, 52-24, in a game in which TJ Finley threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns.

This time around, both teams come into the matchup with first-year starting quarterbacks. LSU will have Garrett Nussmeier under center, while South Carolina will have LaNorris Sellers.

Kickoff next Saturday is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC.
