SUNRISE, Fla. – A dead man was floating near a small motorboat in the Middle River canal on Saturday morning in Sunrise. Police officers and fire rescue personnel responded to an “open water drowning” shortly before 10:25 a.m., behind a house along Northwest 113 Avenue, between 38 Place and 39 Street.
