BREAKING: Bills’ Rival Tyreek Hill Detained in Handcuffs on Way to Dolphins Game; Status vs. Jaguars?

Miami Dolphins’ star receiver Tyreek Hill was put on the ground and briefly detained in handcuffs by police on his way to Hard Rock Stadium for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says Hill will play in the game.

The Buffalo Bills travel to Miami Thursday night to play the Dolphins in a key AFC East matchup.

According to ESPN, Hill was originally stopped by police for speeding. During the stop he engaged in a verbal argument with officers, and was placed on the ground, put in handcuffs and led from his car to a squad car.

He was eventually released, and allowed to continue to the stadium. Hill received a citation for reckless driving.

Hill, one of the fastest players in the NFL, is a huge part of the Dolphins’ offense as Miami expects to battle with the Bills for the division title.

A similar incident occurred in golf earlier this year, when No. 1-ranked player Scottie Scheffler was arrested while driving onto the grounds for the PGA Championship in Louisville, Kentucky. He was charged in May with reckless driving and felony assault of a police officer. All charges were later dropped.
