Fire officials: Car crashes into building and catches fire in St. Petersburg

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A vehicle caught fire after crashing into a building in St. Petersburg Saturday night, fire officials said. It happened around 10 p.m. off of 30th Avenue North. That’s when St. Petersburg Fire Rescue said they received multiple calls of a vehicle that struck a building. Witnesses reported hearing explosions and seeing flames.
