Authorities in San Jose raided a home and allegedly seized an “arsenal” of weapons and explosives, the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office said.

On Wednesday, a gun violence task force from the District Attorney’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office searched the home of Christopher Paul Roberts, 37, in the 2200 block of Bailey Avenue.

After obtaining a search warrant, authorities allegedly found pounds of explosive material “ready for manufacturing;” housings, caps, fuses and mixing components for explosives; completed explosives; four firearms, including a ghost gun assault rifle, ammunition, and heroin.

Roberts was arrested and charged with felonies related to explosives and weapons, prosecutors said.

As of Saturday, Roberts was being held on $10,000 bail.
