A man was killed when he was struck by a vehicle early Sunday in Silver Spring, according to Montgomery County police. Officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews responded shortly after 4:30 a.m. to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road, police said Sunday morning in a statement.
