ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A huge revamp is on the way for an iconic waterfront restaurant in Cortez. The Manatee Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a $13 million dollar deal to buy the Seafood Shack Marina, Bar and Grill. In a statement, the county said they plan to use the 8.8-acre land to build more public boat ramps and dry storage facility in addition to the marina component.
