ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The City of Rockford announces the first “988 Day” September 8 to provide support during Suicide Prevention Month. The day is named after the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline which can be reached by calling 988. The lifeline provides support for people in the U.S. 24/7/365.
