LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – While Feb. 3 marks The Day The Music Died, Sept. 7 marks the day it was born. The late, great Buddy Holly would have turned 88 on Saturday, and the Lubbock community is celebrating and The Buddy Holly Center hosted the annual Buddy’s Birthday Bash.
