A 34-year-old man was arrested on multiple felony charges following a drug bust in Kalamazoo, as confirmed by the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety. The arrest, which occurred last Friday, culminated from a joint effort between the Kalamazoo Valley Enforcement Team (KVET) and the Crime Reduction Team. Before executing the search warrant at a Hotop Avenue residence, the suspect found on Portage Street, attempted to elude officers who tried to apprehend him on an outstanding warrant. During the arrest, authorities reported he discarded illegal drugs and resisted arrest, yet, no officers were injured in the process.
