Dolphins star Tyreek Hill was detained and placed in handcuffs just hours before Miami’s game Sunday but is expected to play. Video circulating on social media shows multiple officers confronting the 30-year-old just steps away from Hard Rock Stadium, where the Dolphins are set to play the Jaguars at 10 AM PT.

Several social media posts, including one from user Nolan (@NolanFried73315), show Hill face down on the ground while officers appear to be shouting at him.

The exact nature of Hill’s alleged offense is still unknown. However, the team released a statement saying, “Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident about one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police. He has since been released.”

Several of Hill’s teammates witnessed the incident and stopped to offer their support. Hill and all other players involved have safely arrived at the stadium and will be available for today’s game.
