BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a black sedan resulted in major injuries Sunday in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident website.
A motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle and one person was transported to a nearby hospital with major injuries on Sunday, Sept. 8. The crash occurred at about 11:41 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 south of Rosedale Highway. The motorcyclist was down in the roadway for a period of time before being transported.
Traffic delays are expected in the area.
