HOUSTON – The HCU women’s soccer team and former Southland Conference rival played to a 0-0 draw on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Sorrels Field. The Wildcats (2-0-4) held an advantage in shots, 15-4, and put five shots on target to the Huskies’ (1-3-2) one. Freshman goalkeeper Emmy McKeon was up to the task for HCU with the most dangerous attempt by the visiting Wildcats coming in the 31st minute when McKeon deflected a shot from distance before blocking a shot off the rebound to the low right corner.
