California’s Disneyland Hosts First-Ever Halloween-Themed Half Marathon; Arizona Man Wins Race

Disneyland Resort, known as the “Happiest Place on Earth,” celebrated its inaugural Halloween-themed half marathon on Sunday, drawing runners through a festive course across Anaheim. The 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon featured a 13.1-mile route that included iconic landmarks such as Angel Stadium, the Honda Center, and, of course, the heart of the event—Disneyland Resort.

Participants had the unique opportunity to race past enchanting sights like Sleeping Beauty Castle, Cars Land, Pixar Pal-A-Round, and the Halloween Time Mickey Pumpkin on Main Street U.S.A.

In a competitive field, 35-year-old Nicholas Hilton from Phoenix clinched first place in the men’s division with a time of 1 hour, 16 minutes, and 52 seconds. The event showcased the magic of Disney combined with the thrill of a high-energy race, making it a memorable addition to the resort’s seasonal celebrations.
