Tyreek Hill’s Touchdown Celebration is Going Viral After Police Handcuff Incident

On Sunday, the Miami Dolphins kicked off their 2024 NFL season with an inner-state battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Just hours before the game, Miami star wide receiver Tyreek Hill was seen being handcuffed just outside Hard Rock Stadium by police. According to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington , Hill was only cited for reckless driving and got into a verbal altercation with one of the policemen.

After a de-escalation period, Hill was let go and was able to start in the 1:00 p.m. ET game.

After a rough first half, it only took one play for Hill to get going. With just over two minutes left in the third quarter, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hit Hill for an 80-yard touchdown on the first play of the possession, making the score 17-13 in favor of the Jaguars.

Hill chose the perfect touchdown celebration following the police incident a few hours before, as he looked at the fans with his hands behind his back like they were in handcuffs. Jaylen Waddle then came over and pretended to escort Hill away. The celebration is going viral online, already nearing a million views.
