Spokane County Interstate Fair to host Sensory Day, carnival games and rides with no lights or sounds

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Interstate Fair is making sure everyone can participate in the fun through its annual Sensory Day on Tuesday.

On September 10, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., the fair, along with Northwest Autism Center , The Isaac Foundation , The Arc of Spokane and Project ID will operate all carnival rides and games with no sounds or lights to create a calming and inclusive environment.

Guests will also be able to enjoy arts and crafts and meet-and-greets with local sports mascots.

New this year, there will also be a dedicated ‘Quiet Zone’ in the Plaza Courtyard, presented by The Arc of Spokane, so attendees can unwind and relax as needed.
