HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The trial of an Evansville father charged with neglect starts tomorrow.
Police say last year David Schonabaum’s six-month-old son was found covered in rat bites with parts of his fingers bit off.
Police say the child’s injuries were life-threatening. Schonabaum faces 3 counts of neglect.
The six-month-old’s mother Angel Schonabaum will go on trial later this month. The child’s aunt Delaina Thurman was sentenced earlier this year to 2 years probation.
