Paul Finebaum Predicts Deion Sanders’ Future At Colorado

Following an ugly 28-10 Week 2 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum made a bold prediction for Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders’ future with the program during an appearance on Sunday’s episode of ” The Matt Barrie Show.

Colorado started the 2024 college football season with a tightly contested win over FCS-level North Dakota State thanks to the 132-yard, three-touchdown performance of wide receiver/cornerback player Travis Hunter. Quarterback Sheduer Sanders also threw for 445 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.

The Buffs never seemed to find any sort of rhythm offensively in Lincoln against Nebraska, as Colorado finished with just 280 total yards, which pales in comparison to the 454 total yards tallied in last season’s victory over the Cornhuskers.

Hunter finished with 110 yards on ten receptions, while Sanders closed out his day with 244 passing yards on 23-of-38, one touchdown and one interception returned for a touchdown. Sanders did not play the final Buffaloes’ series as he was replaced with 3:47 left in the fourth quarter by backup quarterback Ryan Shaub.
