Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors ended their partnership on friendly terms this offseason, but it’s uncertain how his former teammates feel about facing him in play.
Steph Curry attended the Las Vegas Aces vs. New York Liberty game at Barclays Center on Sunday, and Thompson was there too. It seems they didn’t plan to meet, as they were seated apart during the game.
Curry and Thompson left an unforgettable legacy as a dynamic duo in Golden State. They won four NBA titles together alongside Draymond Green from 2015 to 2022, forever leaving an impact on the league as one of the greatest shooting backcourts in NBA history.
This came to a close after the 2023-24 season, when Thompson decided to part ways from Curry, Green, and the Warriors as he took his talents to the Lone Star State.
At one moment, Thompson was seen conversing with Dallas Mavericks teammate Dereck Lively II, catching Curry’s attention. Approaching them, Curry playfully exclaimed , “Ew, ew,” gesturing as if repelled by an odor.
