Schenectady man charged for alleged Home Depot burglary

HALFMOON, N.Y. ( NEWS10 )– Deputies say they arrested a Schenectady man on Wednesday for allegedly burglarizing the Home Depot in Halfmoon. According to deputies, Tyler Marley, 31, was charged with third-degree burglary and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies responded to a trespassing call around 8:28 p.m. on Wednesday near the Halfmoon Crossing. During their investigation, deputies said Marley entered and remained unlawfully in Home Depot with the intent to commit a crime after allegedly being informed he was not allowed in the store or on the premises.

When he was arrested, Markley was charged with knowing and unlawfully possessing a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Halfmoon Town Court with an additional warrant for second-degree bail jumping and remains in Saratoga County Jail pending further action.
