New stop signs coming to Delmar Township

DELMAR TOWNSHIP, Pa. ( WETM ) — People who frequently travel through Delmar Township will have to get used to stopping at an intersection they used to be able to drive through.

According to PennDOT, new stop signs are coming to the intersection of Stony Fork Road (Route 3007) and Balsam Road (Route 3010)/Pheasant Road. A maintenance crew will install the signs on the northbound and southbound lanes of Stony Fork Road on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

PennDOT is making this intersection a four-way stop because of a recent traffic and engineering study.
