Longtime local radio legend John Longo has passed away at the age of 83 at his retirement home in Florida. Longo once owned WLCY in Blairsville, which he sold to Renda Media, and he also owned WCNS in Latrobe, purchasing both stations in 1989 after spending about 30 years in radio sales, marketing, and programming. He was named Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Broadcaster of the Year in 2000.
