CHARLOTTE, N.C. – American Airlines announced Monday the creation of “hundreds of added jobs” to its aircraft maintenance teams in Charlotte, Tulsa and Pittsburgh. The new jobs are expected to allow “the airline to perform additional heavy maintenance check work at these locations,” the airline said in a written announcement. “The carrier is excited to announce this investment which will grow its maintenance capacity in the near-term and will continue to build its pipeline of future maintenance team members.”
