Northern California forecast: Hotter temperatures to drop after Monday

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – After six straight days of triple-digit temperatures, much of Northern California should start seeing some heat wave relief, especially after Monday. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said Monday’s forecast high for downtown Sacramento is 99 degrees, down from 101 degrees on Sunday. The average for this time of year is 91 degrees.
