TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News)-The Tucson Police Department is looking for new officers. The last day to apply is September 9th if you want to be ready for the academy in February. There’s been a significant shortage of officers in the last few years, but right now, TPD has around 770 officers, and the goal over the next few years is to get above 900.
