BELVIDERE, Ill. (WTVO) — Five people were taken to the hospital following a hit-and-run crash in Belvidere on Sunday.
According to the Boone County Fire Protection District #2, around 4:10 p.m. the cars collided at the intersection of Spring Creek Road and Olson Road.
One of the vehicles involved left the scene, officials said.
The five passengers were reported to have varying degrees of injuries.
No arrests have been announced, and no description of the suspect vehicle was given.
