Things looked bleak a year ago for Meals on Wheels of Horry and Georgetown counties, the organization’s executive director said. But that all changed on Friday, Sept. 6. Last year, the group learned that rent on their location on Highway 501 was going through the roof and they would have to move out just to survive.
