Three 18-year-olds charged in recent Old Town shooting

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Three 18-year-old men made their first appearance in court on Monday in connection to a shooting that took place in Old Town last week.

Jaeden Garcia, James Spivey, and Kyan Riddick have all been charged with criminal discharge of a firearm; occupied vehicle with great bodily harm.

Garcia is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon; has been released from imprisonment or adjudicated as a juvenile offender.

Man hospitalized after shooting early Sunday morning

On Sept. 1, just before midnight, a shooting took place at the parking garage in Old Town. The victim left the scene and went to a nearby QuikTrip. There, officers located the 20-year-old man with “a single graze wound.” He was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.

Bond has been set at $250,000 for all three men who are due back in court on Sept. 23.
