Hootie & the Blowfish transported fans back to the ’90s at Syracuse’s Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview on Friday night. Opening acts Collective Soul and Edwin McCain set the tone for the evening before Hootie & the Blowfish hit the stage with a string of their biggest hits, including “I Go Blind,” “Let Her Cry,” and “Hold My Hand.” The band wrapped up the show with a crowd-pleasing finale, blending fan favorites “Only Wanna Be With You” and “Get Down On It.”
