ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 )– Several communities will come together on Wednesday to remember and honor the lives that were lost in the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001. Local organizations, city governments, and more across the Capital Region have planned ceremonies and memorial services that community members are invited to remember the men and women who died during and after the attack.

Albany
The New York State Public Employees Federation (PEF) will hold a 9/11 ceremony at 9:45 a.m. at the memorial outside the PEF building on Troy-Schenectady Road.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam city officials will gather for a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in Riverlink Park at the 9/11 monument.
Ballston Spa
The village of Ballston Spa will hold a 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at 7 p.m. outside the village offices on Front Street.
Broadalbin
The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company will host a 9/11 Memorial Service at 7 p.m. in the firehouse.
