Authorities have released body camera footage from Sunday’s traffic stop involving Tyreek Hill, showing police pulling the Miami Dolphins star from his sports car and forcibly placing him on the ground after a dispute over his car window.

The incident took place just outside Hard Rock Stadium, only hours before Hill was set to play in Miami’s season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In the footage, several motorcycle officers pull over Hill after he appears to speed past them on his way to the game. The situation quickly escalates when an officer taps on Hill’s window, prompting the wide receiver to angrily respond, “Ay, don’t knock on my window like that, man.”

When questioned about not wearing his seatbelt, Hill reiterated his complaint about the window tap. The interaction continued to be tense with Hill repeatedly telling the officer, “Don’t knock on my window.”

Despite Hill urging the officers to issue his ticket quickly as he was running late, he rolled his window up, which led to further orders from the officers to keep it down. Hill partially complied by rolling the window down a few inches, but this resulted in the officer ordering him out of the car. When Hill did not immediately comply, an officer opened the door and forcibly removed him, placing a knee in Hill’s back and handcuffing him.

The footage captures Hill on his phone with his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, stating, “I’m getting arrested, Drew!” Meanwhile, the officers continued to berate Hill, with one officer asserting, “When we tell you to do something, you do it, you understand?!” and another adding, “Not what you want, but what we tell you.”

After being forcibly seated on a curb, Hill screamed in pain, mentioning recent knee surgery. One officer mockingly asked whether Hill had also had surgery on his ears, referencing his perceived lack of cooperation.

The situation escalated further when two of Hill’s teammates, Calais Campbell and Jonnu Smith, arrived. Officers ordered them to keep their distance and threatened to arrest them as well.

Rosenhaus eventually arrived, and Hill was issued two traffic citations and released. Despite the incident, Hill proceeded to play in the season opener, delivering an impressive performance with seven catches for 130 yards and a touchdown. He also mocked the encounter with police during his touchdown celebration.

The newly released video has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey posting on X, calling for the officers involved to be immediately fired. He stated, “Mfs like them can’t have no type of power, they gotta go!”
