The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is looking for an 11-year-old boy who went missing from a Colorado Springs elementary school Monday afternoon, Sept. 9.
Trevor Frachner, 11, was last seen near Grant Elementary School around 12:35 p.m. heading south toward Grant Park. According to CSPD , police received a call at approximately 2:19 p.m. regarding a missing child. The caller said the student had left school voluntarily and had not returned.
The caller said they last saw Frachner running toward an area park — Grant Park — and he had not been seen or heard from since. CSPD officers responded and scoured the area on foot, by vehicle, and also with a drone to search for him, but he was not found.
Colorado Springs School District 11 (D11) said Frachner was initially given permission to go to the restroom before going missing.
