On Friday, Aug. 16, Detective Alan Judy was sworn in as Commonwealth’s Detective for the 18th Judicial Circuit by Circuit Judge Jay Delaney. Detective Judy has 22 years of experience in law enforcement with the Lexington Police Department, Cynthiana Police Department, and Bluegrass Narcotics Task Force. The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office secured additional funding from the state and created the position of Commonwealth’s Detective.
