ANN ARBOR, MI – A 35-year-old man was charged for hitting someone with his bike after he was caught trying to break into a car. A community member confronted David Earl Hatten, 36, shortly before 10 p.m. Sept. 5 for allegedly breaking into a car in the 600 block of West Huron Street in downtown Ann Arbor, said Chris Page, spokesperson for the Ann Arbor police.
