Coast Guard offloads $54 million of cocaine at Port Everglades

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A U.S. Coast Guard crew offloaded a multi-million dollar haul of drugs at Port Everglades on Monday, according to the agency. Coast Guard Cutter Diligence crews were responsible for unloading the more than 4,000 pounds of cocaine seized in the Caribbean Sea, with an estimated street value of $54 million.
