One person dead after north Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — One person is dead after a shooting in the north side of Columbus on Tuesday.

Police find stolen car with child inside in Franklinton

Dispatchers said officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 7:04 p.m. at the 2200 block of Parkwood Avenue in the Mock-Aberdeen neighborhood. One person was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where they were pronounced dead around 7:23 p.m.

This is an active investigation and there is no information on the suspect at this time.
