GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, widely known as the Mormon church, plans to build its second temple in Michigan. Construction at 2400 Forest Hill Ave. SE in Grand Rapids is expected to begin this fall, said Mark Hunsaker, a spokesperson for the church.
