5 Mobile County drug traffickers sentenced to prison: USDOJ

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Five members of a federal drug conspiracy were sentenced to prison time in federal court, according to the United States Department of Justice.

Those members were identified as 37-year-old Eric Maurice Moseley of Grand Bay, 35-year-old Hardy Devan Forrest of Grand Bay, 36-year-old Markell Durrell Moore of Mobile, 25-year-old Zyshonne Osilk Smith of Grand Bay and 30-year-old Bryan Dion Campbell of Mobile.

According to the USDOJ, they all appeared in front of United States District Court Judge Kristi K. Dubose in separate sentencing hearings after an investigation into a drug distribution conspiracy allegedly led by Otis Sanders Jr.

The above defendants were found to be distributors for Sanders after investigators made controlled buys from Smith, Campbell and Forest, and seized drugs and guns from both Moseley and Moore, according to court documents. Further evidence also connected Smith and Campbell to a shooting that took place on Ramsay Road, the USDOJ release said.
