Mt. Juliet groundbreaking for new development, Golden Bear Place

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A massive development is coming to Mt. Juliet and city leaders are calling it a gateway to the city.

The development includes a bowling alley, music venue, housing, retail, and much more along Golden Bear Gateway.

On Tuesday morning, city leaders and the developer officially broke ground for Golden Bear Place.

“Down here we have a 50,000-foot bowling alley and music venue. It’s going to be fantastic to the city, it was very important to get that entertainment aspect to the city,” said Mark McDonald, Partner Oldacre McDonald.

“People are always looking for more opportunities, more restaurants, more places to shop, so this provides that and gives people an opportunity and a choice,” said James Maness, Mt. Juliet Mayor.
