FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Five people have been arrested following the Dec. 25, 2023 death of a 7-year-old boy in Fort Lauderdale, police announced Wednesday. According to Fort Lauderdale police, officers and Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue personnel responded to a home near the 1700 block of Southwest 11th Street shortly before 8 p.m. on Christmas Day in reference to a medical emergency.
