GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – It has been 23 years since the tragedy that took place on September 11th, 2001 claimed the lives of thousands of Americans, and changed our nation forever. Each year on the anniversary of 9/11, Americans observe the day as one of remembrance, and to commemorate those lost and impacted by the attacks.
