BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 44-year-old man arrested in connection with a shooting that killed a woman in Oildale pleaded not guilty Tuesday to multiple charges — including first-degree murder.
Luis Villachana was ordered held without bail in the Aug. 29 death of Ruth Cummings on Olympic Drive. He’s due back in court Sept. 20.

Villachana was arrested on Saturday.
On Monday night, Dallas Bradshaw, 28, was also arrested in connection with Cummings’ death. Her arraignment is expected to happen Wednesday afternoon.
