Former NC State QB Jacoby Brissett had to wear Tennessee Vols gear after losing bet to Patriots HC Jerod Mayo

New England Patriots quarterback Jacoby Brissett had to wear some Tennessee Vols gear during his press conference on Wednesday after losing a bet to Pats head coach Jerod Mayo.

Brissett, who played at NC State, was presented with a Vols hoodie by Mayo, who played at Tennessee, during a media session with reporters on Wednesday morning.

Tennessee beat NC State 51-10 in Charlotte last Saturday night.

“You forgot something,” said Mayo as he approached Brissett with the hoodie.

Patriots offensive lineman David Andrews, who played at Georgia, described the hoodie as a “tough orange”.

Mayo should have plenty of opportunities to win some Tennessee bets this season. Several players on New England’s roster attended programs that are the Vols’ schedule in 2024.

Of course, Mayo runs the risk of having to wear another program’s gear if Tennessee loses. But fortunately for him, it looks like the Vols are on the brink of a great season.
