State offices like governor, attorney general and secretary of state won’t be on the ballot until 2026. But voters will decide in 2024 who will be elected to two of the state’s most important regulatory boards.

The five-member Arizona Corporation Commission regulates Arizona’s public utility companies, incorporation of businesses and organizations, and manages railroad and pipeline safety, among other duties. Three of the commission’s five seats are up for election.

Five seats on the 15-member Central Arizona Water Conservation District board are up for election. Ten members of the member board are from Maricopa County, four are from Pima County, and one is from Pinal County. All five seats on the ballot are in Maricopa County.
