Depending on how Tampa shoppers feel about Aldi, they’ll either be happy or upset about the news that a Winn Dixie there will be converting to Aldi.
By now, most Floridians are aware of Aldi’s purchase of hundreds of Winn Dixie grocery stores last year. Because of this, some of Florida’s Winn Dixie stores will be converted to Aldi. There’s been no specific announcement as to exactly which stores will convert, so we’re left getting confirmations piecemeal.
I’ve written about Winn Dixie stores in Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lakeland, Deltona, Pensacola, and the Villages converting. And now a Winn Dixie in a Tampa shopping center will be making the change as well.
