Hurricane Francine nears coast; Rain & winds coming to Arkansas Wednesday night

Hurricane Francine was located across the western Gulf of Mexico, coming towards the Louisiana coast. It is expected to make landfall later Wednesday and track toward Arkansas as it weakens. The system is expected to strengthen as it lifts northeastward. The system is expected to make landfall along the north-central Gulf Coast on Wednesday. After landfall, the system should take a northward jog. Tropical storm force winds are not expected across the state at this time. Heavy rainfall and gusty winds are the primary concerns.
