ALABASTER – The city of Alabaster’s Fall Fest and Jubilee events will join forces together this year to offer residents a day of family-friendly fun with a variety of activities to enjoy.

The 16th annual Fall Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Jubilee #4 set for noon to 4 p.m. at Larry Simmons Stadium.

“The (Alabaster) Arts Council is excited to partner with the city and its parks and rec department to combine these two events,” said Jamie Cole, city council member in Alabaster’s Ward 5 and Arts Council vice president.

During the event, attendees can expect to enjoy food, vendors, a trick-or-treat trail, inflatables, hayrides and more. Sean “Rockstar” Heninger and the band Twelve will entertain the crowd with live music during the fall festivities.

There will also be a selection of arts and crafts vendors at the festival with several kids’ activities, including carnival rides and pumpkin painting.

“As a city council member and an Arts Council officer, obviously the excitement is building for the completion of our new amphitheater in Alabaster,” Cole said. “While we are scaling back the fall events this year and temporarily moving to Larry Simmons Stadium, we are all looking forward to Fall Fest and Jubilee being in their permanent home next year at our beautiful new venue.”
